The Body Shop Body Butter Review

The Body Shop is probably most known for their body butters.
I learned about them from TiffanyD and saw the "to go" sizes,
and decided to try them out.
First of all, I'm not a fan of tubs.
Just not keen of them/getting the product out.
Onto the actual product.
The body butter is super creamy,
yet not like a normal lotion.
It's pretty thick, and comes off thin if you rub your fingers over it.
Another reason why I hate tubs, I hate digging the product out.
The scent is strong, and if applied heavily, can be overpowering.
Unless you don't wear perfume,
then you can kill two birds with one stone.
My scent, Satsuma, doesn't smell exactly like oranges,
but more like a sweeter version.
It's pretty moisturizing,
more so than the average lotion, and non greasy!
Though to some it may come off as a film if you apply a thick layer.
I'm not saying to put a THICK layer on, but more than just
a wipe of a finger.
(I'm stingy with expensive things, even though it was $5 :p)
I wish I could try the different scents,
since each one has a different oil or such,
such as coconut oil, satsuma oil, coco butter, etc.
It makes me wonder if the different oils effect the application.
Overall recommend at least trying them.
I feel like the small sizes could last a while,
let alone the huge normal size.
:)

  1. They will give you samples of the body butters in the stores. Just ask.
